It seems like Avril Lavigne has heard her fans loud and clear. Avril fans around the world want to know more about Avril's upcoming fifth album, and when it will be released. Although Avril Lavigne tweeted five months ago that her album is complete, we haven't heard any information for her fifth album in the past few months; that is until now. "Adding some more notes, to a song I wrote" is what Avril Lavigne tweeted early this morning. Only a few minutes later, Avril tweets "New music ready very soon. Thanks for being so supportive and patient. I'm doing my best in every way. Thanks xo". From the looks of things, Avril seems eager to release the album as soon as possible. The only downside is it looks like something is stopping her. Is Epic Records holding on to the album until an appropriate release date? Is Avril back in the studio writing some more songs? It was five months ago when we reported that Avril Lavigne has officially finished recording her fifth album. Many fans were expecting to hear new material in the next coming months, possibly the first single from Avril's new album. Almost half a year later, Avril fans have no word from Avril Lavigne or her record label Epic Records on when new music will be released. Although it was rumored that an album will be released in Spring 2013, a recent Epic Records management shakeup is making Avril fans wonder if the rumored release date is still possible. LA Reid hoped that Avril's new album would be released in December/January 2013, but the months have passed, and fans have no official word from ANYBODY about the fifth album. The closer we get to Avril Lavigne's fifth album, the more information we get! Although no snippets or demos from the album have been released, we are getting some of the song names that Avril, Chad Kroeger, and David Hodges have been working on. Thanks to RuleZz and Zach, we have found out that Fly, Hello Kitty, Our Little Secret, This Must Be Love, and Echo are names of songs on Avril's fifth album. The day after performing with Cassadee Pope on the season finale of The Voice, Avril Lavigne confirmed in a tweet to her rhythm guitarist, Jim McGorman, that her fifth studio album will be released in 2013. Of course, this comes as no surprise considering that the new year is only two weeks away, but until now the 2013 release had been a matter of speculation. In response to Jim's tweet to her, Avril wrote "can't wait 4 2013 new record." Without any more specifics, it's only a small bit of news.
