You should make your own thread in the Posting Games and Sundry section. Lots of people have threads there.
They're mainly for chat, but you can like post updates of your day and stuff.
We also have a thread in Off Topic somewhere called "What Did You Do Today?"... I made that. I think I might bump it up soon.
