I think its normal to be worried about people not accepting you..but you shouldn't live a lie and pretend your "straight" . dont live your life in a certain way just to please other people..be who you are and do what makes you happy.
what makes you think people will hate you?
this may be a cliché but if they hate you they were never your friends in the first place and your parents hopefully should love you no matter who you are.
