Michelle’s POV

We arrive at home and Deryck is not here, which I’m glad about. The last thing Avril wants now is to see him. Although, I need to call him and tell I found her, because he is probably really worried.

“Av, you should eat something.” I say to her. She looks so pale and tired.

“I’m not hungry.” She says weakly. “I just want to take a shower and sleep.”

“You need to eat something. You didn’t eat anything since lunch. You’re pregnant, the baby need it.” I say and she nods.

“Ok… I’ll take a shower and then eat something.” She says.

“I’ll make you a sandwich. The best one.” I smile and she nods again, then, goes to her bedroom upstairs.

I dial Deryck’s number.

“Did you find her?” He answers in the first ring. I think he forgot the words “Hi” or “Hello”.

“Yes, I found her. We are at home.” I say calmly.

“Ow… thank God.” He says relieved. “I’m going there.”

“No! Wait, Deryck. I don’t think this is a good idea. She doesn’t want to see you.” I hate to say it to him, but I know it’s going to be worse if he comes now. “You should wait some time.”

“I need to talk to her, Michelle. This is all a big confusion! I would never cheat on her! I wouldn’t do anything that could hurt her. I love Avril more than anything in the world.” He says and I can see he is trying so hard not to cry.

“I know, I tried to convince her, to make her listen to you, but she is really hurt, she needs some time to think, and she is really sentimental these days…” I can’t tell about the pregnancy and I feel really sorry for him.

“God… I want to kill Jessica!” He yells. “Avril has a concert the day after tomorrow. We need to solve it as soon as possible! I can’t handle this situation anymore, Michelle. I really miss her.” He says sadly.
“I’ll do whatever is possible, I swear. But, please, give her this night to think, I hope she’ll be calmer tomorrow.” I say. “Do you have someplace to go tonight?”

“Yeah, I don’t know. I can stay at Steve’s house… or go to a hotel. I’ll call you tomorrow as soon as I wake up… I mean, if I sleep.” He says.

“Ok, but you need to calm down too. Everything is going to be all right. I know you love her, and she loves you. It will be fine.” I really think it will. I’ve never seen a couple so in love like Avril and Deryck, and now they are having a baby, and I’m sure he never cheated Avril. This is just a bad time.

“Thanks. Bye, Michelle. Please, take care of her.” He says.

“I will. Bye!” and we both hang up.
