Well yeah you're right, usually forums will have html and javascript turned off in posts, meaning its harder to do something like this. Apart from getting a javascript code I have no idea how you would do it on a forum, sorry.

But you could try putting it into a frame. Basically what that is is a part of another website opening up in a small section of another webpage. For that, you'd have to upload a file with the list of names to a server (I have a server, you could use mine), and then put a frame code into your post (you'd say how big you'd want the frame to be, if the list didnt fit in the size you've set the frame as, a scrollbar would appear). But codes don't work when posting here as far as I know. So I don't know, sorry!!
