No, Twilight is directed toward 13-year-old, insecure fan girls who swoon madly over fictional men. The story isn't good... it's like fan fiction. It reads like fan fiction. It's filled with grammatical errors and plot holes. She doesn't even follow the story of the vampire correctly, and the main point of the book (withdrawn vampire falls madly in love with self-absorbed new girl for no reason at all) makes no sense. Sorry, but, I mean, you can't say that it's well-written and directed toward adults and just wonderful... because it's not. Well-written stories do not have plot holes and grammatical errors. Stories directed toward adults have deep characters with true internal conflicts, not a new girl who falls in love with a vampire and who everyone LUVSSS even though she constantly whines about how terrible her life and her are. I can see how it could be addicting, and feel free to love and all that stuff, but to say that's it's amazingly well-written and just cute and wonderful... isn't true.

Sorry lol... I couldn't hold my tongue.
