The first Blink album I got was
Take Off Your Pants And Jacket. It was the day after it hit stores, my friend already had it. I loved it, I wanted it.
I went to the store with my Dad, I didn't tell him what I was going to buy. I found the CD and rushed to buy it, but my Dad intercepted. He saw that it had a parental advisory, and wasn't going to let me get it (I was 11). He tried to convince me to get
Dude Ranch (which I ended up getting a few weeks later) instead, I guess because it didn't have an explicit lyrics label. I was hell-bent on getting
TOYPAJ and I almost cried, so my Dad caved. After that, I would go on to buy all of Blink's other albums, and follow them religiously.
I haven't looked back since.
