I wish I could have gone to a JLPA show... or any of her shows for that matter, she came to Panama in 2003 and I missed her...  hope she comes again soon, though.
As for So-Called Chaos, I didn't find it a let down, maybe too short, but well, 8 Easy Steps, Excuses, Doth I Protest Too Much and (especially!)Spineless are such amazing songs that I liked right away and continue to grew on me that I completely forgot about that. |
Yeah, I completely agree with you. A lot of people diss So Called Chaos, sayin it's her worst album, but I ADORE Doth I Protest Too Much, it's oe of my favourite songs ever! Again, it fits with that self-depreiciation theme in your congratulations, which crops up in other songs such as So Unsexy, That I Would Be Good and Perfect.
I don't think any song has ever had such an effect on me on first listening tat 8 Easy Steps either. I had some sort of muscle-spasm, my body was moving uncontrollably, it was incredible! And 'Excuses' pretty much defines me as a person, lol.
