She also said the same thing with UMS. Remember that MTV article where she already wanted to start working on the next record and that was merely a couple months after UMS was released. She was full of ideas and felt really inspired.

I'm curious what songs came out of that. She said that 'The Best Damn Thing' was older than the rest of the songs from TBDT. And the theme of the record came from that song.

So I'm just curious about random songs and how they sound. maybe she can revisit them. lol, I'm not making much sense.

That's what happened with TBDT. She was wanting fun songs, upbeat songs.
She need's to do what comes to her heart. Something that sounds good, and more her.

I kind of agree. With UMS she so wanted to write a darker, deeper album that it coloured all of the stuff she was writing. ANd on TBDT she was so focused on fun stuff that she only got to cover that side of her.
I think it'd be better if she was just in the moment of writing the song whenever she is writing. Like one day if shes angry she writes something angry, one day shes happyso she writes something happy.
Then when she comes to pick her best stuff she'll have a really varied choice

y isnt she content with what she used to be. Its like her whole image and outlook changes automaticlly for every album.

I dont think she actualy just writes songs. im mean with under my skin it was "deep" "dark" "heavey" n her image at the time suited that

then TBDT was 2 b "fun" "upbeat" "playfull" n all that...n again her image has changed to suit the theme of the album.

so theres a chance she gonna be dressing like a rapper next time? (watch this space)

Its cool with the acoustic thing but she always has like a theme u no? like y dont she just write songs n c how they turn out. then just dress real the way she normaly wud dress instead of the constant changes in look.

whether its her choice or the record companies to make her look like that,she comes across as kinda fake ...like her whole style n attitide just changes just 2 suite an albums theme.
