Avril Lavigne Live At The Birmingham NEC
Avril Lavigne, last night performed her fourth show of her UK tour at birmingham's NEC as promotion for her album "The Best Damn Thing. And what a performance at that. From start to finish crowds were chanting endlessly, eyes widended and smiles locked on the faces of all.. admiration radiated in all of one direction. With support from "The Jonas Brothers" who kicked off the show with there trademark songs "Hold On" and "S.O.S". Avril played out a phenomenal show, questionabily one of her best in the UK so far. Tracks ranging from her very first such as "Complicated" and "Skater Boy", giving us a glimse of the old Avril we all knew and loved, right up to "Girlfriend" and "Hot" showing us the fresh new Avril that we still adore. Not only was a superb vocal range possesed, but Avril also stunned the crowd with acoustic performances, and even showed her hand at playing the drums. A woman with a variety of unquestionable talents, im sure many would agree. Fans filled with overwelming excitment as Avril stated how much she loves the UK and echoed "i love you guys" around the arena... her deepest appreciation was shown as she dedicated "Im With You" to the crowd. The show was played in with "Girlfriend" and then out with "Skater Boy" getting everybody on there feet, and circulating heart felt screams of admiration for the idol in there presence. In my opinion, Avril is at her proffesional peak and is loving every second of it.. although i predict alot more success from Canadian rock princess Lavigne.
