I've never looked at it that way, hopefully you're right.

What the hell is wrong with wanting to make clothing for kids? Do kids suck or something? Seriously, were you guys born as teenagers/adults? I'm sorry, but I think it's very sweet how Avril wants to design a clothing line for kids, and everyone keeps acting like it's some catastrophe.

I hate it how her target audience is getting younger and younger. That's so wrong. It's the first time that I hope that one of her projects is going to flop.
But atleast there's another source saying the album will be out in november.

Music IS still her main focus, it's just at the moment; she's been concentrating on other excited projects. I personally think Abbey Dawn and Black Star are great and something other than music must feel nice and refreshing for Avril. I'm so proud of her, at the end f the day; she IS releasing anoher record so I don't see why we should complain about her other projects, because we know theres going to be a fourth record!

own rock and roll style, featuring layered tees with friendly skull graphics and comfy
leggings. “We have a really cute zebra hoodie with ears,” she says, “and I’m like, ‘Can I fit
into the extra-large? Because I really like these!’” In addition to helping kids find their inner
bad girls, Lavigne will debut a new fragrance with Proctor & Gamble called Black Star this
summer. “It’s really me in a bottle,” she says of the perfume, which took two years to create.
She’s also recording an upcoming album, due out in November. Lavigne says that her
fashion and beauty endeavors are a reflection of her own evolving personal style. Although
she’s traded in her tomboyish skateboard sneakers for high heels, she makes sure to hang
on to her style roots. “I mix rock and roll elements with high-end stuff now — I love Chanel,”
she says. “I’m just more feminine now, but my style still has everything I’ve ever liked.”

All in all, it's been Lavigne's music, not her personal life, that has taken center stage.

Ok I get you and I will admit that my comment was a bit stupid.
But please let the album be super awesome, because people will blame her sideprojects should the 4th record be a major dissapointment. Working with an acting coach instead of taking guitar lessons etc...

^it WILL be super awesome
It's Avril... what else?
and your quote about this project flopping... not the nicest. Avril fans should always support her. Music will ALWAYS be around from her... this is something super and extra fun for her!
and I don't think it's getting younger and younger...anyone can join her target audience. Music is music, and lyrics are emotions people relate it to.
