You're right, i don't know if she is glam rock, or not, but is stupid (yes, it IS) say, i don't like to put Labels on me, i'm rock glam. that doesn't make sense!!! but well, i don't trust in those magazines. they put whatever they want. but about the wino, i don't think she really means it, is like when you say, i'm a SDGSDG! (i didn't came with something) but you say it exaggerating.

As others have already pointed out, the writer got a number of basic historical facts wrong, and I don't think they had the best attitude about Avril going into the interview with some of the questions, so it's no wonder really that Avril comes across as being defensive, although she stands up for herself well. It's as if Avril didn't quite expect to get cornered so fast, and maybe that's why the interview is so short.

Maybe next time Maxim could do an interview by a fan for the fans, eh?

I know what you mean about exaggerating, but being a wino is not something to be all, "LOL OMG GUIZZ I DRINK SEW MUCH I'M A WINO.." about. If she would have just said, "I enjoy drinking wine, I'm really into it right now." There would be no problem.

And the glam rock thing just makes me laugh. She probably thinks she is a rock star, and then since she's wanting to start making clothes and is into makeup, she tags on the word glam.
