Girlfriend Chart Update
Girlfriend made a strong debut on the MuchMusic video chart at #26 - the highest debut on the chart in a while. When VJ Leah introduced the video she also said that it's her favourite song right now and the video of the month! The song is also doing exceptionally well on the iTunes charts sitting at #1 in Canada and #2 in the US. Also, the newest Entertainment Weekly gives Girlfriend an A- rating saying, "This instantly catchy pop-rock cherry bomb comes off like a 2007 sequel to the giddy junior-high na-nas of 1982's "Mickey" and 2005's "Hollaback Girl" - and is just as much bratty fun."
