Lavigne back in a high-energy pop-punk mood
Reuters has an awesome new article about Avril called "Lavigne back in a high-energy pop-punk mood" which you can read here. The article gives some more info on the new songs from The Best Damn Thing as well as on Avril's next tour in 2008 which is going to be more of a spectacle, incorporating a bigger band and two dancers. Avril says the urge to dance was partly brought on by a Nelly Furtado performance she saw and loved: "Now every night I go to dance rehearsals ... I'm going to do some dancing. Not on every song, but this record is just so upbeat and rocking that my show is going to be a whole new level."
