Girlfriend Chart Update
 The official UK singles chart results are now in and once again Avril was #2 behind The Proclaimers. On the plus side, it was a really tight gap and this is the highest an Avril song has ever gotten on the UK chart, though next week she's going to be facing a lot of tough competition and will have to work hard to stay that high, let alone get to #1. The single sold out early in the week at a lot of record store, which is too bad because had there been more copies on the shelves her sales numbers probably would have been higher!! In other chart news, Girlfriend is #1 in Ireland and #3 in Australia, and on the US Top 40 Charts it looks poised to jump into the top 10 later this week! Click here for more chart info.
