Avril Lavigne'sThe Best Damn Thing, or rather, The Third Best Damn Thing kicked a LOT of butt this time around. Linkin Park failed to budge from their coveted top spot, coming out as winner, while on a less respectable note, the High School Musical 2 soundtrack managed to out-do Ms. Lavigne in the 7th year of the new Milennium! Still, these results mean that not only is Avril the best selling female artist of 2007, but as Jimmyzz has so cleverly pointed out, Avril is the second best selling artist of 2007...because the High School Musical 2 record is a soundtrack, not an artist!
