Avril Lavigne To Write Some New Acoustic Tracks?
According to Rolling Stone, Avril Lavigne is to dive back into writing some new acoustic songs once the North American and Canadian legs of her upcoming world tour end in June. In the same interview in which she confessed that she'd be covering Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation", along with playing a montage of her flipping the bird, she said: "I have so much creative energy, so I’ve been writing,”. But here's the truly exciting part: “I want to do more acoustic stuff. It doesn’t mean that’s what my next record is going to be, but I’m doing it to get it out.”! Can you wait? I know I can't!

Pretty sure she means that she'll be writing songs that go well with acoustic performances. The Roxy Theater performance was such a big hit, and I'm sure she wants more songs that she can do full acoustic sets with. Maybe she'll do a Mall Tour again! Surely can't wait

Remco!! I am disapointed you asked such a silly question !

Acoustic IS a way of performing a song but it is also a genre.

The genre is usually heard only with a voice and acoustic guitar sometimes stretching to drums.

It is usually the least produced kind of music in the industry which I think will be good for Avril.
