My Avril Lavigne addiction started when i was eight. I was sitting in the car listening to a Toronto radio station, suddently they turn off this edgy girl named Avril Lavigne!!(which is now a common household name for me) The song was "complicated" by the time the bridge came around (on the song) i knew the chorus. After we got out of the car to the doctor i had the song stuck in my head! i couldn't get it out. When we went 2 see the doctor he told my parents and I that i was going to have a serious operation on my legs. In september 2003 i had my serious operation and I demanded that they play Avril Lavigne in my room, so they did. After that I've been a Avril Fan since and I have covered many of her songs and i can't stop talking about her.

mine started in 2003.Let Go changed it all i was in 7th grade that time.a lot of my friends love her as well.i remember people used to callin me avril.after i became a fan of her,i got addicted to her..till today

My addiction to avril start when i was 11 years old sumthng like that.
I was in the mall in the cassete shop.Then i heard avril's song My Happy Ending was played really loud.It was my first time to hear that song.I was very attracted to that song so i asked the owner who the singer and he said avril lavigne. it was my fist time also hear that name lol.So i bought let go and under my skin.But my favourite of all time is UNDER MY SKIN.
My friend called me Fatimah Lavigne because i am so addicted to her.That name is so wierd lol.

my parents bought it for me when it came out, they were like 'hey we thought you might like avril lavinge!'
i was in like 4th/5th grade then ....
i became a bigger fan when Under My Skin came out, i watched her on GMA once.

Ohh this is so shameful but here goes...
Back when I first heard about Avril, like 2002 or whenever, I actually hated her. I only really started liking her summer of 2007, even though when I first saw the video for Girlfriend I hated the song! But I thought Avril was pretty hot - this was when I was first intereterested in avril. Then when I heard/saw When You're Gone I like fell in love with the song, and video

But it wasn't until september until the 'addiction' really started; I remember it so clearly!... It was the week of Avril's birthday, and MTV Flux were showing Avril's video's ALL DAY for like days... and it was the only decent thing on TV so I just watched it for hours. I'd never really listened to Avril before or watched many of her videos; This was the day I fell in love with Avril haha.

Also, on a more personal level, Avril's music helped cheer me up - before then I was listening to shit like My Chemical Romance, who I now detest(even Slipknot's better than them!! who im listening to now. haha).
I almost lost a friend in an arguement about why I liked Avril... she thought I was just shallow and thought it was only because I thought Avril's hot [which she is]. But Avril and her music means alot to me.

Can you believe it! 5 years ago I couldn't stand Avril. Hated her. Thought she was some lame American. LOL [Yes I know Avril is canadian... lol]
and now 5 years on I own all her albums and have tickets to one of her gigs!
Amazing.
Although unfortunately almost everyone I know hates Avril and guys at college take the piss outta me for liking her! It kinda sucks. But hey, they're the losers not me

well basically I started liking avril alot in 2005, when I listened to her single He Wasn't, but a couple of months later I forgot her. I first listened to her LetGo cassette tape a lot and that's why I started liking avril.
