Well actually, I think Jim has a good voice. What I meant to say was that I don't it really suits Avril's music, or what we're used to anyway.
But the dancers... well that's different. They don't really sing, they yell.

I think she sounds best with just one person singing like when even would. Too many people harmonizing makes it easier to hear how avril is often off-key.

I don't know what's the fascination of Avril's fans with with Evan but hey. Just look at the MSN show, both Evan and Jim are on the stage, and Jim is actually at the back but you can see (or shall I say hear)who has the goods. Avril is not a fool. If she were - she woudn't ne what she is today.

umm...avril being a fool? she had way too many voices singing in that performance. Perfect example of too many studio musicians leaving far too little wiggle room for avrils voice. evan or not, the extra vocals hurt her performance.

I quite liked it. She has such powerful voice - she wasn't stifled one bit - on the contrary. But ... Whatever.

Didn't Avril say, when asked how she chose her backing band, that it was really important for her that the guys could sing really well, too?
I actually prefer a lot of her songs in their live rendition, especially songs from all the concerts she's recorded for MSN, Yahoo, OrangeControl Room, etc...

Wow, can't believe so many people don't like Jim's voice as welll as other other members voices ,obviously she wants them to to background vocals or they wouldn't be doing so.

I love Evan, but he's not a great singer. He should be a guitar player. Like 'Cinnamon and Vanilla'. He's like struggling to hit the higher notes. It might just be how the song was produced, but he can do better than that. It's just not good quality singing.
I really do love the song though, and I think he's a good singer, I just think him and Avril were great on stage together and that's where his vocals were brought out best.
Like 'The Best Years Of Our Lives' that's a great song. His vocals are great in there. I just would like someone to tell me that Cinnamon and Vanilla is going to be produced much better than that...I know it was a rough cut though.
