Why doesn't she leave the background singing to the dancers - only?

Here is a suggestion, that people may agree with me and Avril might read this and say: hhhm right. Maybe not but its worth a shot

Its more about the whole band but mainly the dancers.

There is a general agreement among ... some fans, that the guys aren't helping with their background singing. Let's take girlfriend cause there its obvious: In the original album recording, there is Avril and a few girls (Right?) in the background, both in the "Hey hey you you" and the end "hey hey heeyeey"

that sounds good.

So why won't Sofi and Lindsey do the background vocals...without the guys doing the background vocals?
What do you guys think?

I kinda gree. I don't really like the guys vocals in GF. I haven't noticed it being bad in any other song. Well, maybe in WYG.. I think the guy vocals kinda get in the way of her vocals. And Sofi and Lindsey's compliment Av's vocals.

I think they should be doing the background vocals for Girlfriend for sure, the guys singing "i dont like you girlfriend." etc just doesn't fit and it sounds really messy.

But i really like how they gave Evan different parts to sing from the others, sounds really good.

But Evan had a lighter voice. The guys are really MANLY and heavy. Background fits more to light voices or choir voices. Unless this is a metal band or a movie soundtrack and then very heavy choirs. But in no case simple adult males fit to the background.
Now Avril isn't a choir girl, so her background singing should be done by the dancers.

yea Sofi & Lindsey's voices do definetly compliment Av's. The guys annoy me when they sing and i think Jimmy sings way too much. Kinda funny how he sings at the end though, I want to be your girlfriend! haha! I laugh every time, but seriously Sofi & Lindsey need to sing more they are awesome!

I really don't like it when the guys sing/shout the "heys" in 'Girlfriend'. It sounds strange, and gets annoying.
For the rest they're alright. Exept for Jim maybe, he can go off key at times.

Like that one time when they performed 'Complicated' wth was that. Like seriously.
And there were other times. But that's the only thing that bothers me.

Because she is trying to make it sound like the recorded version. If you listen to that version, her voice is duplicated a ton for the group vocals. They're trying to get as many people singing on it as possible.
