Avril Obsessed Fans Wanted: Join the Bandaids Staff!!

Hey Bandaiders

We're going to be adding two (possibly more) new members to the Bandaids staff this week to help with keeping the site up to date and writing main page updates. Your main duty will be keeping the main page blog up to date as well as the featured sections you see on the right-hand side of the main page. Should everything go well then we'll start giving you more responsibility including modding the forums and beyond.

You should apply for this position if:

The only thing you love more than Bandaids is Avril.

You take pride in knowing everything that's going on with Avril and Bandaids and when you're away from your computer for a day or more you have been known to appear anxious and sweat uncontrollably for fear that you may be missing something.

You get an acute sense of joy at the thought that Avril will be reading what you write.

You have blogging experience/above average writing skills and you appreciate good grammar.



If this sounds like you, here's how to apply:

Send me a PM with the title: I HAVE AN OBLOGATION TO BLOG

(Clever, eh? )

Include in it your real name, age, e-mail addy, location.

Write a paragraph explaining why you're perfect for this job (remember that you're being judged on your writing skils - it doesn't have to be coated in bullshit and flowery language, but make it interesting and understandable).

Find two interesting Avril news items in the forums and write two samples of updates for the main page. Try to avoid writing on topics that have already been posted on the main page. For this part, you will be judged both on the quality of your writing and your ability to pick topics to blog on that the Bandaids community will find interesting or your ability to turn shit that no one cares about into blog-worthy posts (as I often find myself attempting to do during Avril's "downtime" ).

Remember, even if you're not picked for this position you can still write main page updates by posting threads in the Avril Lavigne News & Updates forum. Every post you submit that makes it to the main page will earn you 1,000 BandaidsBux! Your posts will be checked by someone on the Bandaids' staff and (if need be) formatted properly before they are approved, but if I spot anyone doing a spectacular job posting updates I might just ask you to join the team too!

My advice would be for you to give it a shot, keep it simple, and if I think that you're a good fit overall for the site then I might just pick you!
