All the contestants have now officially submitted their videos of Disney songs that they have covered for round 1 of Bandaids X Factor! They have sang their best, and worked very hard to get this far, but now it's up to YOU Bandaiders to start picking and choosing who YOU want to eliminate and keep in this competition, us judges, will leave ALL the power in YOUR hands!
How Will This Work?
The contestants (3) with the least votes will be eliminated form the competition. Members will vote on a poll (Above), and the contestants (3) with the least amount of votes will be eliminated. The poll will be edited to make it look like there are more votes than usual. You will not be able to track who is winning. Note: The poll is multi-choice. You can vote for how many people you want to!
Rules on Voting
1. No account that has registered after March 13th 2010 can vote in this contest. Their votes will not count. This is to avoid any fake, new accounts being made by any of the contestants or their friends to try gain them more votes. We like to rely on the already active community to pick our talent.
2. One vote per IP.
3. Any accounts that have registered using a Proxy will not be allowed vote.
4. No guest votes will count. You must be a member.
Judges Comments
Chris: This week has some fantastic performances! Loving Callie's song, it stands out so much compared to her previous ones, keep it up! Carolyn also stood out this week, your voice really suites Jazz, you should try more Jazzy stuff in the weeks to come! Teresa you gave a great performance but your voice didn't seem up to it; I think you should stick with more mellow tracks, and you look kinda awkward without your guitar!! And finally on a positive note: Yet another outstanding performance from Edd!
Georgie: There really was some great entries this week! Well done everyone! The Disney theme worked great. I would liked to have seen more of the catchy/funky Disney songs rather than all the ballads because I think they can work really well too, but I do see the appeal the ballads have (would have loved someone to do 'Everybody Wants To Be A Cat'!). This is why my faves this week were definitely Chyaz and Carolyn. Fantastic work both of you! I loved the spin on the Disney classics! I thought Callie really smashed a difficult, well known song. Well done misses! The instruments from Djamilla and Edd worked a treat too, I was really impressed! Just a note to Teresa and Madison, it was a little hard to hear you. Just something to be aware of in the next round.
Lewis: My favourite's this week were Carolyn and Djamila! Talk about talent guys! Chyaz also done an awesome performance! She's got such a snazzy voice on her! Kristin I love the way you put so much performance into your singing. Teresa I have to say I'd like to see your guitar back if you get a suitable song for it! You seem most comfortable behind a guitar. Madison I know you were sick, I didn't really like the song for your voice, but you did pull it together considering the circumstances. Callie, your song choice was my favourite! Overall fantastic round with a LOT of talent
