on essential avril lavigne on mtv they made her sound realy spoilt when she says ' i alwasy needed attention ' and also when she says ' i was drunk when i recorded that ' made her sound stupid and is the best damn thing being big-headed please don't get me wrong i don't agree with any of that but i want to hear other peoples views?

shes smart, no matter from what angle you look at. calling your album damn best thing

ppl see that as cocky, ok maybe it is to say, but she has had a pretty succesful sales record to date, so she can get away with saying that.

if the album was a flop (which i highly highly doubt), she can say, its the damn best thing ive felt ive personally produced musically.

shes proud of the album, so im sure she feels its the 'damn best' regardless of the public. however im sure the public think its damn best enough to go out and buy.

forgot to mention. when she says i need attention, i think she means it in the sense of shes driven for success, and wants to be known for her success and not so much as her as a person.
