Well, they got what they wanted: money and to get famous. It's sure that Avril has paid them less than a long judicial process would cost, so I think it's good news.

The new statement from Tommy Dunbar and James Gangwer came from Nettwerk which is a bit odd ,
I would have thought that if they wanted to put out a statement it would come from the Rubinoos lawyer Nicholas Carlin like all the others have in the past.
Im thinking Mcbride didn`t like all the articles that just said " AVRIL SETTLES with the Rubinoos " and all the implications that came with that headline and in those articles so he decided to leak part of the settlement to spin things his way.
I don`t know if he would be a allowed to speak for them when they have their own Lawyer and PR and if he leaked a part of a confidential settlement then they are probably no longer bound by it so I would expect more to come from the Rubinoos side over the next week or two , unless they did get stomped on.
I get the feeling we haven`t heard the last of this , they have`t got anything else to do like tour
