The general public has not been impressed with this "new" Avril Lavigne, and this will not help her case.

I think, Avril believes this will be good for her career, but I really think it will do the total opposite of what shes thinking.

The funny thing about the Kurt Cobain comment is that he didn't release it. He killed himself because he hated the 'celebrity' he was becoming.

Both of your examples leave out the fact that they are huge. They're legends.

Besides the fact that Kurt played his guitar a lot more than Avril so it seems a little more apt.

I think the problem with perfume is that right now shes still trying to straddle the gap between grown up, glamourous celebrity whcih the perfume would fit with and punky party girl who wants to act liek a kid and have pink streaks in her hair which is an image a perfume doens't necessarily fit with.

Innocence is a great name for a perfume! Great thinking Adam!

I don't like Iris for a little girl's name. Sounds very old fashioned. Trust me. I know all about naming a baby.

I think Iris Lavigne sounds quite pretty actually. Nothing really goes with Whibley really.

Innocence would be a cool perfume name I suppose. If it does well she'll probably release more. Se should name one after a song on each album.
