This just like totally confirms my worst fears coming into realization.

After Under My Skin Avril so led me on to believe that she was going to do more mature rock acousticy stuff and she has done a complete 180.
Just when I thought she couldnt get any more mainstream or younger aimed, she adds on the jo bros. lets just pray she doesnt start hitting the clubs with hannah montana.

Idk. I dont want to turn this into an Avril bashing thread, cause who knows if it was her choice or not. I just need to vent my frustration.

Avrils management fuckin suck.
they have done everything they can over the last years to make Avril as appealing as they can to the youngest possible audience so they can make more money. it backfired massively and her fans have deserted her droves , she can`t sell out her tour because of all the fans she lost so what do they do ............. make it worse by turning Avril and her tour into children's entertainment.

Ok I have a plan - Bandaids just raised $2,793.95 for Invisible children , I sympathize with the plight of all those kids in Uganda , we all do but needs must and the greater good an all that , lets use that money and hire some thugs , we don`t have to kill the Jonas Brothers or have all of them done over we just need them to get 1 or 2 broken legs that should do it , take em out of the game just long enough for Avril to tour .

It's not all Avril's fault, I believe. It's about her managers and/or record company, they're focusing her fans base on 8-14 years old, when Avril's real fan base is from 12-20 and even more (I'm 25). I mean, the "typical" Avril fan has converted from 12-20 people, who disguts commercial music to 8-14 years old and full-throttle commercial. 180º changed. I don't know if Avril realize it, but it'll be very bad for her career. I hope she realizes about it and fix it for next album, because she's losing all her old-fan base, those who made her who she is. Avril, please, do something...

A fucking boyband?? Just got to their myspace, the songs are awful.
I thought it couldn't be worse then last summer (a german band with a 13 year old drummer!!!!), but hey, it's possible.
I mean, I'm there because of Avril, but in the past it have been Our Lady Peace, Bowling For Soup and A.

Ok, same prodcedure as last summer while the opening act is on stage -- JÄGERMEISER SHOTS!!!

---ARGH--- Are the realy covering Busted?? Usually I hate people that turn away from the opening acts (normaly it's good for finding new artists that you didn't know before) but... FUCK IT!!!!!!

I agree that Avril's management sucks something I posted a while ago like when she did a mall tour to promote UMS lets see your trying to extablish a respected music career and your doing shopping malls? her management (nettwork management) are morons it would be extremely annoying setting next to a 10 year old girl who thinks their "dreamy" as long as the kid doesn't knock over my beer, with that said it's probably tough finding other girls in similar veins to tour with.

Wow, I didn't REALLY think it was selling THATT badly..
I went to ticketmaster and checked on a few dates. I selected 2 tickets, best available. From the randoms that came up, it was like the midway point of the arena. The Tampa date I checked still had general admission pit section available...
