Hrm, I had heard her on the radio, when Complicated came out. I loved the song but didn't know who she was. About a month or so after the song came out I got on the computer and looked her up. I listened to "Things I'll Never Say" And fell in love with it. I loved the fact that she could sing, and that she liked her fans, Most people can't really sing and they don't like their fans. So I went out and bought her CD and listened to it for like 2 weeks straight day and night...... Her music got me through alot of stuff. So that just made me that much more of a fan

I heard her song "Complicated" and I thought they would say who sang the song.. I went to the mall and I walked into the cd store and there was the sign and her cds.. I was very debatable to buy it. I did.. I was amazed at all the songs and how much I could relate to them. I've been to 2 of her concerts and I am still amazed that she's the same person.. but she's matured. It's wonderful that she's not fake like other artists but herself. I loved her song "Anything but Ordinary" I could related to that song.. I listened to it day and night. When my first boyfriend dumped me for drugs, I found the song "Too much to ask" I related. There were some songs that I didn't like so well, but all the rest that I liked I was in an addiction mode. When I heard "Don't tell me" I freaked cuz that was another song I could related to and I was happy to know that her 2nd cd was going to be released soon. But until TBDT I waited. I heard "Girlfriend" I was like "WHOA.. That's not her" then I searched it online and I found that it was, I was shocked cuz I never thought she would do something like that..I'm glad she did..

I've been an Avril fan since letgo. I was about 8 or 9 years old when i got the record. I learned every song. I was so hit. It was soo my style. I wanted to be her! lol

I liked Complicated & then Sk8er Boi so I got the album, and I loved it. Then I stopped listening to her because I was 13/14 and thought I was way too cool/punk to like her lol. Then when Don't Tell Me came out I couldn't deny it, I loved it. And then My Happy Ending... I was in love with that song I thought it was amazing. So I got Under My Skin and adored it. Then I was pretty obsessed with her for a bit and I dug out Let Go. I've never stopped liking her since then.. I have phases of not listening to her for a while but I always go back to it. I was dissappointed with The Best Damn Thing at first but now I love it. Just depends what mood I'm in to which album I'm going to listen to. Sometimes I'll just fancy a bit of Avril in general and shove her on shuffle for a bit.

I heard about Avril on a few message boards I went to before I actually heard her music. Complicated had just started on the radio, but I hadn't heard it yet. Her CD wasn't out yet, but a friend gave me a download of Let Go and I LOVED it! The CD came out a week or two later and I bought it. I've been a fan since then. <3

the 1st time i seen her i was watchinh Mtv (Let go Era) and there she was i just went crazy and went out straight away to buy the album played it all day straight i knew the Lyrics by the end of the day and thats when my addiction started and will never end!!!

AVRIL IS JUST AMAZING AND NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME!!!

Kinda started when Complicated first dropped on the radio. I loved the song instantly because it was so different from anything that was playing. My favorite was when people still loved Britney and tried to say Brit was better than Avril. And I was like no way... Avril is amazing no matter what, Then when her CD came out I was only going into 5th grade so I was like these songs are cool never knew what they really ment until I started going through a lot with life and people who were losers to me and her music was just therapy. It helped me find myself and be my own person. It then really hit me when UMS came out. It was at that point when i was in 7th grade and I again wasn't on the level to understand the songs but still loved them. In Highschool was when her music was really what helped me get through a lot. I went through hard times with not fitting in and UMS and Let Go were there to helo me get through the night. After, she helped me I soon found other people who were going through things where they didn't feel like they could fit in and were doing things that were not good ( they were girls) I burned them a copy of UMS and emphasized that they listen to Don't Tell Me and Nobody's Home because they neeed to hear it. They soon understood that the reason i love Avril is even though she doesn't know you or you may never know her she is there to help you get through things and proves that music is just more than a guitar and some lyrics.

I liked her ever since I caught Complicated on TV. I just thought she sounded good and decided to look her up. Withim weeks I had all her album in my computer and all the videos until then releases. I listened nonstop.

The first time I saw Complicated i was like "Oh, nice voice" but not liked a lot. Then Sk8er boi was released and I paid more attention to her. And I definitely fall in love with her when she released I'm With You, what has been and will be my Avril fav song.

Then she released UMS and I got totally addicted to her. It's been the best album I've listened, don't have words to describe how I felt during those 2 years of UMS era. I saw her live twice and I got more and more addicted.

She dissapeared for 2 years, and then she got back with Girlfriend and TBDT. I've not liked TBDT just like UMS, but I've seen Avril's improvement as a person, singer and performer. I'm sure she'll be back with some UMS style and maybe Let Go style as well. TBDT was just a "break", I've been sure about it since the first day I listened it and see her saying she was looking for a funny album and the most songs of TBDT wasn't very personal and "only songs".

We'll see, but I'm confident about her...

she totally got me at the first time i saw complicated on tv. i was like 16(not really sure, i was in 10th grade) and totally lack of selfconfidence and i was like "omg, she's sooo cool." we had something in common, we kicked, acting like a big tom boy. but she got something i really dont have, courage, self-confidence, having faith in what she's doing and what she wants to do, and voice of course. i listen to Let Go every single day, after school and when i go to bed. she's like someone always encourages me. i love her right from the start.
