Well when sk8ter boi came in Greece it was all over the radios..i was listening and i was.."oh..that's so annoying..i can't hear it anymore"..*i was britney girl at that time*
i didn't like it at all...anyway i was at the cd store and searching for cds...i had extra money and i didn't know what to buy.so i saw her cd and i was "well let's buy it"..i buy it with no reason..i just wanted to take away all my money
i didn't listen it...i just left it with my other cds.one year later My Happy Ending was out.at this time i wasn't Britney girl anymore(my mind start to work normally).i started listen other kind of music.i listen it at the radio and i was "wow..i like that".that time i put the Let Go at the stereo.i listen it so many times that i had to buy it second time.and i have to buy it again right now
i bought Under My Skin and then the Special Edition.After that i bought My World.in two words i was addicted

Mhh I'm a fan since 2005/06 or something this is when I started to get in this rockmusic thing.So my father (he's to blame for me listening into rock/punk music) bought me some punkpop records like green day's dookie and avril's under my skin. I really liked but I really went to an avril board or anything.I was ust listening and liking then in february or march 2007 girfriend came out I still remember the first time I listened to girlfriend.It was when my mom drove me to my guitar lessons and the song was you know like really catchy and that guy on radio was like "This is girlfriend the new avril lavigne single". So next day I went to one of my friends and told her about my experience she was like that she already knew it and she's watching the video on youtube all the time.So I checked out avril's official page and I saw that the new record is gonna come out soon so I went to a CD shop for buying the record I took it and was really impressed by these fast upbeat songs. Then I read in a magazine that she's gonna come to germany I asked my father to buy some tix and he did it so we saw her live and even my father liked it even if he did not like TBDT.And I'm gonna see her live again this june. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

When I first heard and saw "SK8TR BOI" here in Oz, I have liked her since that day and went to her concert in 2005 (it was my first concert ever !) It rocked !!

When I first heard Avril's songs "Complicated" & "I'm With You", I loved them. I heard them on the radio when she first started, but I had no clue who was singing those great songs. My mom & dad got me her Let Go album when it first came out, but I had no interest in music at the time.

But years later in 2007, in my 9th grade year in high school, my friends and I were discussing music since I was very much into it by then, & my friend Allison introduced me to Avril. She said,"She's one of my favorite singers! She's coming out with a 3rd album in about 3-4 weeks. It's going to be called The Best Damn Thing." I was amazed in the beginning. I asked,"She sang Complicated & I'm With You right?" She told me that she did & I got all excited. I went home that day, found my Let Go album, & listened to every song. I loved each & every one of them. Now that I had Avril Lavigne in my head, I wanted to find what her other album was like.
A week later after earning enough money, I went to Walmart & bought the Under My Skin album. I ended up loving that one too. Now that I heard her music, it became an addiction. When I was upset about something, Avril's music had just what I wanted to hear. I was so inspired by the way she dressed that it gave me the courage to go back to my old tomboy ways. I even got into makeup. She inspired me to become a singer. That's my goal now. There's nothing else that takes my complete interest than being into music.
The Best Damn Thing came out & I got the album the first day. I thought it seemed different...more upbeat & the Avril on the cover seemed to look different. I didn't care. Her lyrics & music were electrifying. Makes me think,"Hey! I can stand up for myself & be who I wanna be." So that's what I'm doing now.
That's my whole story of how I got my "fix" of Avril Lavigne. I still can't wait to see what kind of album she'll make next. I wish I could send my lyrics that I've made to her. All my friends tell me that it's as good as Avril's music. But I'll settle with just seeing Avril in concert & hoping to get an autograph from my favorite singer.

Ohh this is so shameful but here goes...
Back when I first heard about Avril, like 2002 or whenever, I actually hated her. I only really started liking her summer of 2007, even though when I first saw the video for Girlfriend I hated the song! But I thought Avril was pretty hot - this was when I was first intereterested in avril. Then when I heard/saw When You're Gone I like fell in love with the song, and video

But it wasn't until september until the 'addiction' really started; I remember it so clearly!... It was the week of Avril's birthday, and MTV Flux were showing Avril's video's ALL DAY for like days... and it was the only decent thing on TV so I just watched it for hours. I'd never really listened to Avril before or watched many of her videos; This was the day I fell in love with Avril haha.

Also, on a more personal level, Avril's music helped cheer me up - before then I was listening to shit like My Chemical Romance, who I now detest(even Slipknot's better than them!! who im listening to now. haha).
I almost lost a friend in an arguement about why I liked Avril... she thought I was just shallow and thought it was only because I thought Avril's hot [which she is]. But Avril and her music means alot to me.

Can you believe it! 5 years ago I couldn't stand Avril. Hated her. Thought she was some lame American. LOL [Yes I know Avril is canadian... lol]
and now 5 years on I own all her albums and have tickets to one of her gigs!
Amazing.
Although unfortunately almost everyone I know hates Avril and guys at college take the piss outta me for liking her! It kinda sucks. But hey, they're the losers not me

So yeahhh. That's when my "addiction" started etc etc.

I went Avril mad i 1st heard Complicated on the radio....I loved the Song, The Vid was Madd, she was different to everything else at the time, it was a new style, both in women music and what she wore, i loved it. Than Her 1st Tour, i got her autograph that made me even more crazed...lol. I've seen her whenever she's come 2 sydney(Tours, Promos), n if i had the money i'd buy absolutely everything Avril and go 2 more concerts(eg; overseas, ect) Every Video she's made has been different and ya gota love her 4 that... i Started my Obsession from DAY1 woooooo n it'll NEVER Stop =D n i just CAN'T wait till she Has THE BEST DAMN TOUR IN AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!

I just remember that I was at my friends party...and we were listening to music. Another friend of mine wanted to change it so she started going throug some cd's. All of a sudden she started screaming Avril! Avril! Avril!...then she put it on. I heard Sk8er Boi and I was hooked lol

i was at our swimming pool, and the lifeguards are sweet, and played avril, and i hear complicated, and me and my friends loved it, and everytime we would go swimming we would ask them to play it, haha we were like 10 at the time, and we came up with like a swim for it XD

then one day i was cool and went behind the desk ( this is a small town remeber so everyone is friends here) and i saw this cd called let go, and it looked cool, and i looked on the back and it had complicated, sooo i went and bought it LOL
