Ryan Seacrest Defends Avril

I'm a big fan of Ryan Seacrest. I think he's really talented at what he does and he's got a lot going for him. He gives all celebrities the chance, and he likes Avril. You can tell that when Avril's on his show, she's really comfortable talking to him. Anyways, I've been out of town a lot this past week and haven't had the chance to listen to his radio show, so when I miss it, I sometimes go online to check out all of his interviews, which he's really good at.

One of his most recent interviews is with Perez Hilton. Throughout the interview, Ryan and "him" are kind of getting into a heated debate. Ryan pretty much proved him wrong on everything he talked about. You can tell how modest Ryan really is and how much he doesn't like Perez Hilton. Ryan asked him which celebrity he'd hate to run into the most and he said Avril. Ryan went on to ask "him" why he hates her so much and he admitted to liking Under My Skin. Ryan was really supportive of here. Here's what they said.

Ryan: "Who's the one person you wouldn't want to run into?"
Perez: "Avril Lavigne"
Ryan: "Why do you pick on her so much?"
Perez: "I just don't think she's very appreciative of her fans and her career..."
Ryan: "But her thing is to be edgy!"
Perez: "I kind of liked her the last album I liked, but then she king of just went wrong with her when the whole spitting thing happened"
Ryan: "If you were straight, you'd like her."

You can tell that Ryan really likes Avril. You can check out the interview here, but you'll have to listen to the entire thing until the end to actually hear them talk about Avril. I thought it was kind of interesting that he admitted that he liked her last album.

I listened to this interview a couple days ago. It's so funny how Perez gets annoyed by it.
And his "excuses" as to why he dislikes Avril. For fuck's sake get over it!!

Perez did another interview with him in March and Ryan said he thinks Avril is hot! Loved it.
I'm glad Ryan doesn't get why Perez has a grudge against Avril. It's time to be the bigger man and move on.
