It's a really cool website that posts anecdotes about celebrities, and I found some really interesting ones on Avril.

About getting a letter from "fans" on the plane:

While flying in first class one day, Avril Lavigne was approached by a flight attendant. "There are some guys in the back bugging me about you," she explained, handing her a note from some fellow passengers:

"I love you soooooo much!" it read. "Kiss Kiss..."


Lavigne later learned that the flight attendant had prompted the note by telling the guys that she was on the plane. "Avril Lavigne's up in the front!" she had told them. How did Lavigne find out? The guys in the back... were Avril's bandmates!

[Trivia: After hearing that the aluminum in antiperspirant might cause breast cancer, Lavigne stopped wearing it, choosing instead to constantly sniff her armpits and spritz herself with perfume.]

I found that funny just cause it's cute...and disgusting. I wonder if she knows alcohol might cause breast cancer too.

About stripping when Hey Ya comes on :

Avril Lavigne was once asked to name her favorite song. "'Hey Ya' [by Outkast]," she replied. "I have to be careful to keep my clothes on when that song comes on!"

That time she and Evan mooned people from a Ferris Wheel...so mature.

While interviewing Avril Lavigne in 2003, Rolling Stone's Jenny Eliscu caught a glimpse of a small town girl gone wild. "In Tokyo, during a drive to TV Asahi, a Japanese channel she's performing on, Lavigne points out the window at a gigantic Ferris wheel that rises above the skyline. Last time she was here, she says, she and her guitarist, Evan Taubenfeld, dropped trou on the ride and mooned the people in the car behind them."

to madina: i don't have a clue about when hey ya was released, but i'm pretty sure they were off about the timing of the avril and deryck thing. i think avril and deryck were already dating when the interview they took that from was put out...but hey, it's still hilarious
