do you think a singer can spend the whole night getting drunk till 3 in the morning the day of a show and in not affect the voice ?
there are some people here that are traveling to her concert from Mexico , if you traveled from a different country just to see a band and you got there and someone comes out and says Oh sorry its postponed you would thing FUCK but these things happen , then you find out that the singer was partying for two days straight in Las Vegas and till 3 in the morning the day of the show you might feel a bit annoyed , I would.
you might even think it was not very professional .

The "IF " is there because we don`t know what the reason is . she could have broke a leg for all I know , but the reports about the show being cancelled look like they are true so the throat problems and partying might also be true. and if they are it sucks.

Avril has been good with shows I don`t think she has ever cancelled any before only cut one in half when she was ill , she works hard so I give her credit for that .

People shouldn`t have to find out its cancelled from a Blog or when they get to the venue , partying and not informing people is un professional in my opinion.
Oh and I also hope it`s nothing serious soulreaper just in case you were wondering.

April Lavigne "postponed" her San Diego concert tonight.

Perezious reader Jeff tells us that excessive partying could be the main reason why she can't play in San Diego this evening.

He shares with us:

"Avril and Boys Like Girls (Avril's support band) played here (in Vegas) last night at the Palms…yesterday afternoon (at a private performance before the big show) the lead singer of Boys Like Girls Martin Johnson said, "We (he & Avril) got so wasted last night in her suite." He told us how she (Avril) had a bowling alley in her suite and that they "went shot (alcohol) for shot all night long." Even at the show last night, in front of her very young audience, she claimed that she was "hung-over" from drinking so much the night before. I think that is one of the many reasons she bucked the San Diego show…"

So responsible. Promoting drinking to the tweens in the audience.

April sucks!

Update: The concert is now officially "Cancelled."

Guess the promoters didn't think it'd be worth it to reschedule!
