and why does everyone think that the arena saying the show is going to be rescheduled doesn't count as confirmation? i know we don't have a definitive date but we still know that they'll be rescheduled.

and i swear, i would wait until the day the world ended (which will probably be a thursday - if you can't figure that out, too bad for you) for that concert as long as i got to go. i don't care if i have to wait until 2015, as long as it's rescheduled.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Management for Avril Lavigne's "Best Damn Tour" concert that was originally scheduled for Friday, May 9th has announced the cancelled show will not be re-scheduled.
Originally ticket-holders were told the Spokane concert was going to be reschedule, but due to overseas commitments in Europe that will not happen. Ticket-holders are encouraged to obtain refunds at the Spokane Arena Box Office.
You can obtain a refund by visiting the Arena Box Office at 720 West Mallon Avenue. The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Refunds can also be obtained by sending in your original tickets and your mailing address to Avril Lavigne Refund c/o TicketsWest, 720 West Mallon Avenue, Spokane WA, 99201

Avril Lavigne won't reschedule Everett concert

EVERETT — Avril Lavigne fans shouldn’t keep holding on to tickets for her Everett concert.

Today, the international pop star permanently canceled her appearance here and has no intention to reschedule it, contrary to previous reports.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Citing a case of laryngitis, the pop star bailed on eight dates in late April and early May, including a May 10 show at Comcast Arena at the Everett Events Center. Then, organizers said the concert was postponed. That has changed.

"They were unable to reroute the tour to include the dates, unfortunately," Ashley Graham, a spokeswoman for Live Nation, said.

Lavigne has concerts booked through August, taking her to Europe, Canada and other areas of the United States.

Avril Lavigne will not reschedule concerts she postponed due to laryngitis, including one that had been scheduled for May 10 in Everett.

usually if shows are cancelled they get tagged onto the end of the tour instead of being squeezed in between others at random intervals

If they were serious about those shows they would tack them on the end , its not 1 or 2 its 8 .
the rumour going round was that one of those shows only sold 4500 tickets for a 20 000 seat arena, if true Im not surprised they are permanently cancelled .shame for all the people who aren`t going to see Avril for years , dont count your chickens Lewis
