I had hoped the reload page efforts would stick on the youtube counter. I thought it was a legitimate attempt to put tons more hits, and either way - it was an awesome idea. If the 'hoax' thing is an excuse thought up after the fact, its also a brilliant plan. All I know is my instinct told me it was a win-win situation and I stand by that. I'd be the 1st to openly admit I'll cheat her hits up because as I stated many times, EOD had a 6 month headstart and Girlfriend was closing the gap either way even with disallowing the standard embedding feature.

staticrebelle, I cant say who is Avril's biggest fan, but I'll be yours. I was totally pumped about the idea from the get-go and I applaud this whole situation. Before this, there was no publicity announcing her 2nd place video status.

'Bandaids cheating' did not put that 1st 88 million on there so with whatever negative crap they say about the creation of the reload page, the fact remains - we've opened a lot of eyes with this. I've seen a few comments by youtube visitors shocked that she had so many and for each who did comment, there must be a dozen who didnt. So reguardless of the outcome, even if we lose this battle, we ultimately win the war!
