Help Bring the Bandaids Chatroom Back!

Hey Bandaiders,

I'm saddened to say that the chat room you saw implemented on the main page of the forums has been taken down due to high server load averages. We found that it was very database-intensive and after removing it, the site is experiencing much better performance.


I have just added a third server to Bandaids' configuration and once it is fully initialized, we should see much less downtime and much faster load times. That being said, this means Bandaids is now $1,800 more expensive to run per year.


Thanks to the generosity of some members, we have enough to make the initial payment for the server, but keeping this going throughout the year will be hard and we're going to rely on you to help us.

So here's the target we need to aim for:

If we can raise $500 by Sunday August 3rd, we will bring Bandaids Chat back!

Hahaha well that's what happens when Justin and I go on vacation together

My laptop died on me about 2 days into the trip and it wasn't pretty. I'm going away in a couple of weeks again, but I will have internet so it's all good.

Totally, if you don't feel comfortable then don't use your real info

We use a site called IncentRewards that tracks all the info and keeps tally of what we've earned.
