 Total: $18 million
 Though both rock star young bloods earned millions last year, Lavigne out-earned her hubby, thanks to strong album and ticket sales for the tour promoting her latest effort, The Best Damn Thing. Her $13 million paycheck was bolstered by endorsement deals with MasterCard and Kohl's and songwriting publishing royalties. As part of Sum 41, Whibley released Underclass Heroand toured internationally to earn $5 million.

I thought the difference would be bigger, since she is much more well-known around the world than him, and has a clothing line, and do a lot more promotion and concerts and that stuff.
They earned more than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner!

As we already knew, Avril has the looks, talent, and money.
I kid the Sum41 fans. They know I love them.

Honestly though, that's pretty good, considering the critics kept saying her tour wasn't doing good, and that her career was dying.

But then again, she did do more than him this year
And Deryck's paycheck would be split with the rest of Sum 41 too, so that should be considered as well.
