Hey guys, sorry to make this thread, I really didn't want to.

But lately I've been on this site and I don't think it's so cool anymore. I don't know if it's because TBDT wasn't really a good record as LG and UMS, but I lost some interest. Don't tell me to leave cause I really liked this forum in the past and I still have hope that it will be as good as it was in the past.

I think it's because Avril is taking a break up and then things get less interesting. It's always like that. But I don't know I think she should release some EPs (with one or two songs) sometimes, just to keep us entertained. I used to post a lot on The Best Damn Forum (old Under My Skin forum) and now I don't do it too much.

Maybe Bandaids should get more contact with Avril? She should post here on Bandaids, that would be a boost for the site. Or maybe some interviews (with good questions, not if she's happy with D or not), she could give us some prizes like autographs or things from the Abbey Dawn or anything (I know this is not an official site but I think Avril knows it's one of her biggest sites).

Anyway just my thoughts I hope you understand and say your opinion too.

I don't agree with you.

Being fan of a musician always has it's ups and lows. We just had an awesome year of media, and as always after an awesome period must come the "boring" period that leads to the next awesome period.
Ya gotta give our Girl some time to setup and prepare for round 4!

About the interviews, is there really anything we can ask that hasn't been asked before at this time? The less we bother her with interviews, the more time she has for album 4

Anyway that's my view on it, the inactivity is more then normal and we just have to ride it out.
As always with Avril, the wait will be more then worth it!

There are a lot of factors come in to play. Fan site members change as they get older many other influences enter their lives, exams, jobs, family commitments etc. Avril has also been very quiet lately, but thats only media quiet. Writing songs, thinking up new projects, reading film scripts, organising clothes launches are all very time consuming but not paparazzi friendly as there is no scandal involved.
Other Avril sites are also quiet at the moment.

I agree with you in a way... but I don't agree with you saying bandaids isnt cool anymore. Yes, BA should definetely be in contact with Avie more, though. She needs to speak to us more!

I partly agree with you.
It's really fucked up that some sites dont generate alot of visitors anymore cause their idol is on vacation.
Oh well, that how it goes i guess.

Of course on TBDT era many things happened and forum looked very interesting.You know new videos,events,tour and stuff.Now Av has a break and on this break we're going get only paparazzi pics

So for the last two odd years she's been creating an album, promoting singles, doing a world wide tour...and this isn't enough?

Avrils a singer. She's not a personal friend. Nor is she a weekly TV personality.

She is entitled to time off. She doesn't have to spend every waking hour trying to keep the world entertained.
