i went the the toronto concert and it was fantastic...her voice was so perfect...young, and beautiful as usual

the dvd will be fantasic, and i can't wait to buy it myself

K I was there. I bought the Hot Package. It was totally worth it. I knew that Sharifa was going in early so I asked her to save me a spot in the VIP section. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH SHARIFA! So on my way into the VIP party Avril's mom walked by me and I freaked out and she gave me a wierd look.

I ended up standing right up against the stage... not exactly centre, but more to the left. It was sooo cool. I had a sign that said AVRIL BANDAIDS LOVES AVRIL. I think that there was supposed to be a fence separating us from the stage because one of the security guys told us that the people didn't deliver them in time. So everyone in the front row of the VIP section was right up against the stage. (Was it like that at all of the other concerts?) After Boys Like Girls played the security put tape down and made us stand behind it but no one really cared...


When Avril first came out during Girlfriend she came right up to us and saw my sign and smiled at me for the longest time and I had this look on my face like "I JUST SHAT MY PANTS" and she giggled. She waved at Sharifa and Sharifa waved back. I can hardly remember anything cause it all went so fast.

During the girlfriend remix the camera was at the back of the arena and pointing at the stage so me and Sharifa held up the sign backwards and it was up there for a good 30 seconds! We could see it on the big screen REALLY clearly. Hopefully it makes it onto the dvd. During "I'm With You" the camera was scanning the audience and it went on me and I held up the sign.

During the show Av mentioned that her mother, her grandmother, her mother-in-law (Derycks mom) were there and that it was her Grandmother first concert so she made everyone say "HI GRANDMA!". When I was leaving the venue I walked right by where all of her family was sitting and I recognized Michelle (Av's Sister). She was with a guy (I'm assuming it was her boyfriend??). Then I saw Amy (Matt's girlfriend), and during the concert I saw Matt off to the side of the stage handing Avril a guitar.

I don't know if anything was different about the Toronto concert because it was my first time seeing The Best Damn Tour. I waited by her bus for a an hour and then I was like "Kay screw this I'm freezing" and I left. I assumed that she went out for supper since she had all of her family there.

Avril was amazing. The show was amazing! It was one of the best things I had ever experienced. I'll have pictures up soon.

so i spoke to jesse, and he said that security actually wasn't joking when they said that she left right away. she had a tiny meet and greet after the concert and then left right away. i still wish we got to see her though. that would have completed my night. lol

lol, it wasn't too much of a weird look was it? She must've been a bit overwhelmed cause she's still not used to having a daughter that's being so succesful (judging from the recent Avril in Mexico documentury).

She must've been like, "huh you recognise me as Avril's mom?" Kinda cute actually.

Haha well I screamed "OMG IT'S AVRIL'S MOM!" and she could obviously hear me. We were both walking down a tiny hall way, I was walking one way and she was walking the other. I screamed it when we hadn't passed eachother yet so I think she was worried that I was going to attack her when we passed eachother. So when I instead of "weird look" I probably should've said "scared look"!
