I think the tour might not be selling well as its her 3rd time touring the same places.
A lot of people just see an artist once, and thats it.

The fact of the matter is that Avril is only half as popular here in the states than she is in Canada or overseas.
They're booking venues that are way too big for her.
For example, her shows here in Dallas decline in crowds every year.
Try To Shut Me Up Tour:
Attendance: 8,000 out of 10,000 seats
(Fair Park Coliseum)
Mall Tour:
Attendance: 6, 000
(Vista Ridge Mall)
Bonez Tour 2004-Eyes:
Attendence: 5, 000 out of 20, 000 seats! (the worst turn out)
(American Airlines Center)
Bonez Tour 2005:
5,000 showed out of 7,000 seats
(Smirnoff Music Center)
The Best Damn Tour is at Smirnoff as well.
She should play at Nokia Theater here which holds 6,000 patrons
She just isn't as popular in the states as anywhere else.
Don't ask me why...

I think to say her tour is selling poorly is an overstatement, after all, the main source of this rumor is Perez Hilton, and I just don’t trust what he says, do you? It just seem to be to soon to know this for a fact. Anyone that says differently is merely stating an opinion; the jury is still out on this, only time will tell us for sure. In my opinion I think Avril will do just fine just on this tour.
Every single album an artist has releases is not going to be necessarily be a big hit. You win some you lose. Don't forget Avril is in this for the long haul. But, there is no denying that Avril’s success to date is undeniably huge.
People always underestimate Avril’s ability to succeed, but don’t take my word for it, read what Larry LeBlanc, the bureau chief for Billboard magazine says about Avril: "Everybody underestimates Avril, and they shouldn't," LeBlanc says. LeBlanc he sees her as a fiercely independent spirit whose persona has been genuine. “She's a pint-sized whirlwind,”' he says. “She's had her own look, her own viewpoint. She's been anti-star in a lot of ways. Hilary Duff will sit there for four hours and talk to the press. Avril will walk by and say ‘Screw you.’ The others are products of the Hollywood star-making machine. Avril's not a part of that. . . . There's nobody like her within spitting distance.'' - Larry LeBlanc (Billboard.com)
And for the record:
Avril was The Best Selling Female Artist in the World in 2007; according to World Wide Albums
Source: World Wide Albums see the section “2007 Totals To Date” on the left.
Additionally:
Avril Lavigne now has the most NO. 1 Top 40 Hits This Decade,
Avril Lavigne has ascended to a lofty pedestal: The 22-year-old now has the most No. 1 top 40 hits this decade at "five" and is the No. 2 artist in the 14-year history of Nielsen BDS, behind Mariah Carey's six chart-toppers. —Chuck Taylor (Billboard.com)

And top it off:
According to "United World Chart" Avril Lavigne's album "Let GO" album released in 2002" has sold so many copies worldwide that it has climbed the level of the "TOP 100 ALBUMS SOLD OF ALL TIME (Worldwide)" It is currently in position 91 of 100 and since it is still selling well worldwide it is expected to keep climbing up this list. WTF? You're complety wrong, but that's your opinion, respectable but deeply wrong.
Talking about Let Go and Avril's image on that record. There's no secret about that Sk8er girl was just an image and she's never been so "sk8er", although she still likes some sk8er elements. And not counting LG music, her image of rocker is only showed in 3 songs (Sk8er boi, Losing Grip and Unwanted) and 2 of them were singles. But it wasn't bad because we liked it, we like her look and her music, although it's been fake since the first day until Avril end her last LG concert.
In that moment, she starts another look and way of doing music. In that case, she starts to be herself, and deep lyrics and great music showed it. Great album but still something left about Avril. She's too much serious and sad, due to her personal problems between LG and UMS, and due to that, I'd say that era was bittersweet (bitter cause her character, and sweet cause her great music).
Now she's turned 180º. She's nicer than ever, she always smiles, in just a few words: SHE'S HAPPY. But this makes her forget some important things such like being original and controlling much better her management. And of course, she's lost her trademark: deep and sensefull lyrics, and originality of her music. Just a feeling I have. And TBDT is just a little bittersweet too, but just the opposite of UMS.
Things like Jonas addition or the horrible distribution of the CDs (censoring thing for example), shows her limited capability to control all the aspects about her record. In some aspects, she's completely free to do whatever she wants, but in some others, seems like she's not at all. I don't know, is quite strange this management thing...
Now she has a lot of money, she should produce her own songs, I'm pretty sure she'll do it very well. Because Butch Walker and Deryck production, has not convinced me very much ...
So... we'll see what happens next years. But I believ she'll be back for good
