i've never been to a concert in Plymouth, actually, unless you count Music Of The Night (it was outside though), so I can't tell you what it's like. I hope its good :}

What I really liked from the videos I've seen (such as this one with McFly) is that the people seem to stand really close to the stage, so we can see, like, EVERYTHING if you arrive early! =D

I'm planning on spending the night before queueing up for the show. Can you tell me if anyone else is crazy enough to do that? cuz I dont really know how crazy English people can be in these situations, lol.

If I know Avril fans, they don't come much crazier. I don't think you will be lonely for long in the queue!

Only trouble is, most Avril concerts I've been to everyone gets there SO early and dashes for the front, but I see so many being carried out early because they get too hot/exhausted/excited in the crush and end up missing most of the show! That sucks.

I guess I'm lucky cos I'm well over 6 foot tall and don't have any trouble seeing the stage wherever I'm standing haha

i'll dash as fast as i can for the front too, but thing is, i'm not fast AT ALL. i'm probably, like, the less sporty girl there is in Year 10 in my school, lol

yeah, I've seen these cases where people had to be carried out of the concert :~
but i think i'll be okay... i'll do anything to be there on the front. i'm not as tall as you are, but i'm about 5.7 ft tall, and thats relatively tall for my age (14)... =]

Yeah, u'll be fine. Hope you're going to take a camera or something so we can all get to see how Avril looked from the front. Bandaids is a brilliant place for seeing lots of stuff like that. I've got some piccies I took of Avril in Cardiff a couple of years ago somewhere, must dig them out...

^it says on the ticket that the Pavilions dont allow cameras or any other recording equipment =( i dunno if that applies to music concerts (how the hell did everyone record vids from McFly and MCR...?), so i hope it doesnt, cuz i'd really like to take some pics.

yeah i'm hoping to sneak my camera in, the pavilions can be quite inconsistant over cameras etc, they we're really strict at the green day gig (no camera's, no bag's etc) but they weren't like that more recently for kaiser chiefs or pink.....plus the venue is good for visibility, i tend to get there just before the support act comes on and u can get a really good view, i think this time tho ill be queing a lot earlier in the day lol

^lol yeah, i would avise you to get there as soon as you can, because there may b a lot of people from the South West and South Wales coming...

i dunno about the cameras. i would REALLY like to take some pics, you know, as a reminder of what it was like... just to keep it stuck in my memory forever. but then i'd be worrying too much about focusing and blur and flash and colour etc... knowing me, i'd probably watch the whole concert through the 2.5 inch screen! lolz

d'you guys know what time they normally open the gates for 'ordinary' people? (no VIP ticket) and what time they open it for those who've fot VIP tickets?

^ Hmm it says doors open at 7 so I suppose they should be open around that time for ordinary ticket ones

I'll have to get there after lunch and just camp.. Hopefully I can get in front

^but it says that the CONCERT starts at 7, surely they open the gates before that? or does that time stand for the time the gates open? thats weird lolz
