The Kingston Concert
I didn't get a chance to buy any of the presale tickets because my Crossbonez email was wrong in my profile, so I never received the access code... but I *hope* I'm able to get one when they go on sale to the public.

I posted this elsewhere on here too, but if anyone's interested in the Kingston concert specifically, I have an entry about it in my Avril blog here:

I can`t quite believe she is doing the VIP meet & greets at her home gig. isn`t it part of the deal with Live Nation that if they sells meet & greets that she is not allowed to meet fans outside the venue ?
that will go down well with the locals.
maybe she bought them all up to give away to friends and family

I hope I get tickets too - and the funny thing is I see lots of people googling to find tickets for Av's Kingston concert and arriving at my Avril blog... but *I* need tickets too, so don't want to help out my competition by telling them what to do! LOL

Is she doing a meet and greet here? I thought I read a post by someone on Av's site who said they were surprised she WASN'T doing a meet and greet. "Will" or "won't" go down well with the locals..?

I think that is a bad rule to have if it's true, since it only hurts the fans (which hurts Avril's rep - because right now it's stellar with her fans), and would appear to be kinda money grubbing if fans wait for her and she has to run right by them and say they should've bought the VIP tickets...

Ha. Maybe. Although she could probably just bring them in with her backstage without needing to worry about buying them tickets - but maybe not.

However since this IS her first ever home town concert, there will be lots of people who grew up with Avril or knew her in Napanee who will be buying tickets.

I'm going to have to be very quick logging in or phoning to buy tickets before everyone else gets a chance (incl the scalpers) - and very lucky too!
