i think the part i like the most is the fact that deryck remembered you. thats so fricken awesome. yes i read the whole thing even the BLG part. the sums review was great. i felt like i was there. and i really appreciate (sp) the pic of the sign out front. thanks that review made my day/week/month lol you get the idea. anyone who says its too long is crazy

Lol Tim wasn't creepy, I knew who he was after he asked me if I was Adam haha. It was just a funny place to run into someone. I was caught off guard I guess ahahaha. He's a cool guy and has a cool guitar

Waiting around for Avril was probably the most boring experience of my life. We woke up very early. After we got all ready, we left for the Palace of Auburn Hills expecting to go right into the venue and wait in line until the show started. It didn't work out as we planned though...

We waited for awhile and I went out to see if Mr. Big Nose was still waiting by the other entrance. He sure was.

We drove around to the main entrance and walked in. There was a security guard, I named him Guillermo. We approached him and Sharifa did the talking. She told him we were there to wait in line for the Avril Lavigne concert. He also looked at us like we were crazy. She said some unfactual information to try and coax him and she confused the hell out of him. It was hilarious. Apparently we were there to run some promo contests for Avril's tour - that's not why we were there. Anyways, he asked us to go talk to the head of security, and we told him we would, but we never did. We went back out to the car to chill.

Next, we went around by Avril's tour buses. This is where we staked out the longest. We waited and waited and waited for something cool to happen. I felt like I was in the FBI. Unfortunately, it was very dull. The only interesting things that happened was someone walked out of one of the buses the put a garbage bag by a light pole, and we watched the Boys Like Girls crew unload their trailer of merchandise. Eventually, me and Chelsea walked out to find a bathroom. This security guard lady stopped us and asked us if we were with the concert crew. We couldn't lie, so we said we were here for the concert that night. She told us we had to leave and to come back at 5:00 PM. We didn't understand now, because we had one guy tell us 2:00 and the other tell us 5:00. I was so confused! We went back to our car. A few minutes later, this security guy came over and yelled through his walkie talkie "We've got a van-full over here!" and yelled to us "You're gonna have to get out of here". I wanted to pull the Avril Bandaids Administrator card on this situation, but there's a time and place for that, and it's not to be used in the parking lot of the Palace.

In a pissed off mood, we ended up going to Great Lakes Crossing, a mall where Boys Like Girls was performing an acoustic show. They were performing at FYE. I went to the bathroom there really quick, and as I was walking out, a guy came up to me. He was like "Are you Adam?" I'm not going to lie, I was caught off guard. I told him I was and then realized that it was Tim (Funkmon) from Bandaids. It was really random that he found me coming out of the bathroom of all places, but it was cool. We ended up splitting up from him and met up with him later on at the venue. Anyways as we were waiting for the show to start, Katie (ktg205) called us and told us they were letting people in the Palace now. We literally sprinted out of the mall as Boys Like Girls started singing the first line of their first song. It was so crazy.

We got to the Palace and we were pretty much the first people there. We chilled for about two hours. It was the longest wait of my life. We used a lot of this time to plan exactly what we were going to do to get front row. It all worked. We had the best plan.

We were in the front of the line to get our wristbands for the floor. We had to watch this really korny video about moshing, as if it was made in the 80's. I didn't actually believe there would be moshing at an Avril concert (lol) but I signed the waiver anyways. It sucks that you have to sign your life away in order to have a good time. A lady snapped a bracelet on my hand and I was good to go in line.

We were at the front of one of the lines then. When the time turned to 5:30 PM, they opened the ropes, searched us, checked our ticket and then we ran like there was no tomorrow. All of the others in our group were in front of me. We had a specific plan of how we were getting down there and what section to run down, it was very well thought out. When we ran down to the main floor, the security guards checked our wristbands by pulling on them. Mine came off. The lady told me I had to go ALL THE WAY TO THE BEGINNING to get it put back on. I pleaded with her like there was no tomorrow. I had to have my concert ruined because some bitch, slut, psycho babe doesn't know how to put on a wristband. I was crying and my face was really red. I ran faster than I ever have before. I went back to the table and a lady put back on my wristband and waited in line AGAIN. I got searched again and they checked my ticket again and I was good to go. I ran so fast back down to that floor. I'm glad that security lady wasn't down there when I came by the second time, because I would have punch her.

By the time I got down there, there were five rows of people. I came in there crying my eyes out and I was visibly pissed off. Luckily, they saved me a spot in the front, which was perfect. We sat around for another hour or more until Boys Like Girls came out. The fun was finally about to begin...

Adam it's NOT the end anyway Avril might stop by Detroit again hopefully she can comeback to the city where Av met Deryck !!!!!!

I read it ALL and got very weird looks from my family when I randomly laughed.
The whole things sounds amazing. You guys are very lucky to have experienced it. =]
