Yes but you guys are also Avril fanatics, as are most people here.
Most casual male fans may very well be turned off by the pink and decide not to go.

Hm, it's just a colour... I think this is stupid.
But I still would like to know if all in one the tour is going well or not.
Because, I can't remember any discussions about Avrils tour selling or not back in the past, with the 2005 tour. So it seems people don't want to see her anymore... I think that would be sad as far as Avril seems to put so much into the show (that's what I heard from people that went to a show this year and this is how I feel about what I saw on youtube so far).

It's just weird that you can read something like that almost each and every day since the tour has started. I don't remember articles like that within the past tours.
For me 7.000 people a show sounds good. I have been to 6 Avril concerts in the past and it have always been between 4.000 and 7.000 people. And those concerts have been amazing.
Maybe it's realy just because of those big venues she's playing right now (I read that the Philips Arena in Atlante goes with 21.000 people when it is used for concerts). I just wonder why they play this huge venues, seems like the management had wrong expectations...

^ Probably management thought it would be sells better than Bonez tour but it sells the same as Bonez tour did.Because of it they chose such big venues. That's only my opinion.I know not more than you

I think it's stupid. (if this realy is the reason)
I mean, sure TBDT has been a huge succes, but compared to what Avril sold with the first to records, it's nothing. And as far as this has nothing to do with her, because it's more about the whole file sharing thing and the fact that people don't buy records anymore I realy wonder how they could think people would be going to pay to see her in concert...
I mean a lot of indie bands are touring there asses off because their fanbase is behind them and so they can bring the money in, that they lose with album sales. But Avril is a commercial pop singer, 90% of the people that buy her album don't care about music anyways, so most of them won't go to see her in concert because she's just one of those artists they are listening to every now and then because something was written about them in a hip magazine. That's reality...Even though it's sad.

We all know that TBDT in US hasn't done as well as in Canada but How do you all convince yourself that there are only 7,000 people go to her US concerts ?? I mean may be she sold a bit more like 70% tickets ???
I think the rumour came out just because :
1/Perez Hilton
2/Because Avril hasn't annouced the data from her US concert. So nobody has the actual figure !!

actually If the album sales weren't free-falling down every year, TBDT might outsell UMS. GF was a huge hit and it made her popularity much better...A lot of people aged between 10-30in my country know her while they even don't know Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Christina.....and they didn't know her before GF ! So I think they had the reason to book the big venues for this tour
