I Met Avril At The Tampa Show!
Ok well first of all I have never written a concert review before I just usually read them lol! But I hope you like it.

I bought the VIP package for the Tampa show and I had tried calling all week to get the time that I had to get there for the party but the venue people weren’t very helpful as they had no idea what time I should get there. So I emailed Av’s management and they replied very fast saying to be there at 6 pm when doors opened to go to the party.

We got there at like 5:50 pm and there was a big like waiting to go in the venue so we waited until like 6:10 pm when the line started moving… I went directly to the box office to get my pass and such.. the guy said to go to the side to where the pink X was so I did and there was Lizzy (amazing! She was so nice!) I gave her my ID and she gave me my envelope with my pass and wristband.. I immediately put it on and then we waited a couple more min for some more VIP people. Then Lizzy wanted to let us in through the side instead of going through security but the security guard wouldn’t let her saying we Had to go through security.. she was like “oh well” and then when we got into the venue she asked how many people actually wanted to buy some merch and most of us raised our hands so she went and talked to the guy at the booth but he said to go to the booth on the other side of the venue as it wasn’t as full… so we walked across the amphitheater and as we were walking Lizzy said if we could see where the GA people were standing that we were gonna be in front of them I got so excited!! Then we went to the other booth and got what we wanted… then walked across the amphitheater all over again to go backstage were they had a tent with food and drinks for the party.

After a while Josh (I think is his name) the security guard told us the rules for the meet and greet and said to please not jump at avril in excitement because they had some incidents like that during the tour, and to go outside the tent and form a line bc they decided to use the tent as the meet and greet place… so I got in line and waited I could see the tour buses and Boys Like Girls by their bus saying hi to some friends and family, the leas singer did say during the show that his Dad was there… I guess that’s why they didn’t play on time lol

then the line moved all the way and then I could finally see her!!! It was Av!!! And she looked so beautiful! The first thing that came to my mind was that she looked like a porcelain doll lol! Then Josh asked if I had something for her to sign and I showed him my drawing I made for her to sign and the album booklet. He let me in and I saw Lizzy taking the pic and Matt right next to Avril. I said Hi to Avril and asked her how she was doing? She said fine and if I had anything for her to sign I said yes and gave her my drawing she signed it and looked at the booklet and was kind enough to ask me if I wanted that one signed as well I was like “yeah please!!” then I was brave enough to ask her for a hug and I was like I promise I won’t jump at you! Lol she was like yeah and I gave her a big hug then the pic and then out into the floor I was sooo close. BLG were fun but I was sick all day so I just wanted to save my energy for Av.

The woman next to me was there cause her best friend is the mother of avril’s manager Tina. I thought that was interesting anyway she came out to say hi to them during “I can do better” I guess she kind of thought I was with them lol Avril was amazing and the place was full I don’t think sold out but packed like during the Bonez Tour. She did a great job and I did take some cool pics I might add them to the gallery if its easy enough.

Haha his name's John . That's so funny that you met Tina's mom! Haha Avril seems to really like that girl. Lizzy is really good at her job, isn't she? She deserves a raise.

Was the meet and greet during or before Boys Like Girls?
