I'm freaking out!!! I've been waiting for this day since like 2002. Avril's finally comming to Newfoundland!

Avril Lavigne will hit the stage at Mile One Centre in St. John’s Aug. 12 as part of her Best Damn Tour promoting her album “Best Damn Thing” released in April 2007.
Special guest will be Boys Like Girls.
“I can't wait to get back out on the road!” Lavigne said. “I have the most fun when I am performing for the fans. I think that energy comes through in my live show.”
According to a news release, “Best Damn Thing” has sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. Fans can expect to see the high-spirited energy of the record come to life through Lavigne's stage show, which will feature dancers and a live band.
Having sold close to 30 million albums worldwide, Lavigne burst onto the music scene in 2002 with the critically acclaimed “Let Go”, which featured the smash singles “Sk8r Boi” and “Complicated.”
