San Antonio Review

OMG!!! I went to the San Antonio concer on this past Sunday and let me just say...IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!

It all began at about 5:30 pm that night. My sister and I arrived at the venue to meet Lizzie, Avril's VIP Coorinator, at the BIG PINK "X" at the main entrance. We waited a few minutes and then there was the fabulous LIZZIE! We went through security and then made our long walk all the way behind the stage to the VIP Pre-Show Party! At the party they had a buffet type line for food. And then ice chests of drinks! Lizzie handed out everyone's VIP package and everybody put on their VIP laminate and their VIP wristbands. SHe explained what everything was included in the package and then we started ther raffle. They had a Boys Like GIrls CD, an Avril Tour Hoodie, Avril Undies, :-) LOL, an Avril Tour Long Sleeved T-Shirt, 2 of 'The Best Damn Thing' Flags, 2 caps that you were when you ski, i dont know what they are called, and last but not least......RODNEY'S DRUM STICKS THAT HE PLAYED WITH AT THE TORONTO SHOW!!!! I won those! They are so awesome!

After that, the Hot Package people were escorted down to the VIP section of the floor just in time to see Boys Like Girls. Yup thats right the VIPS got to see BLG as well as the wonderful AVRIL!!! As they were walking down there, the BEST DAMN PACKAGE people walked with LIZZIE to the other side of the venue where the Meet and Greet would take place. We walked back behind the stage and waited. The meet and greet was inside a closed off hospitality tent right next to the tour buses and equipment 18-wheelers. For the meet and greet there were only about like 35 people. So I walked back to go into the tent and OMG i saw tiny little AVRIL!!!! Ok those of you who say that she downgrades herself...your full of it...i measured myself before the concert and i am exactly 5'3, and Avril was inches shorter that me. NO DOUBT! Anyway she looked absolutely pretty~her hair was kinda wavy. she had on an abbey dawn hoddie and t-shirt jacket thing, and black pants with a skull and crossbonez logo stiched on, with her custom sparkly converse on. her wedding ring is huge too! just thought i would mention that. anyway with rodneys drum sticks that i won, i got av to sign those and my VIP laminate. We took our pictuere then left! it was very short but totally worth it. we were then escorted down to the VIP floor area just as BLG were starting. if you want to see BLG then get at the very front of the line for the M&G cuz the people at the back of line missed some of BLG. anyway i caught a guitar pic from one of BLG's guitar players. and then the stage was set up for Avril.

Avril Started at about 8:40 with the same setlist. it was soo much fun. i got to touch her hand during sk8er boi when she like bent down on the floor and i was at the very front of the pink line thing. i had a great view. i also caught on of jims guitar pics too. it was hot pink and with the skull crossbonez logo on both sides. well ive never written a revie before. i know this is not very good but its something. im sure sum1 else will come on and write a better one.
