Please help me with speaker positioning at concerts
Hey all! I hope this is the right forum to post this in.
I would like to know how the speakers are positioned at the Best Damn Tour. Only in front, or also at sides and rear... and at what height.
Would be very greatful if you could draw me any sketch.
Or shortly, where is the best sound quality?
And also I am asking anyone who has been to concerts with vip tickets... How much noise from screams is there in the first rows? And are people hustling and pushing a lot when being there in front ?

The place to be is right in the front.
When Avril was performing "He Wasn't" at one of the concerts, we were in the front row of the GA section, right in front of the catwalk (about four feet away) and Avril was doing the whole "shhhhhh" thing and making everyone go crazy and shut up (watch the performance if you don't know what I'm talking about). Anyways, at one point, she was telling everyone to go quiet and knelt right in front of us and without the microphone said "hey" to all of us in the front, and we heard her perfectly. It was like the best part of the concert. So go there.
It's loud as crap, so anywhere you are is great. No physics needed!

Thanks Adam, I need comments like yours. Sure I know that part. Have many vids from 'my favourite song', He Wasnt, off the tour.
And what about more to the back - are there audience more quiet ? I need a good position with good music and less audience. I really dont want some 13yr old girl to scream over me without control.

Lol
I'm actually the 13-year-old girl at the concerts that everyone hates. I'm technically a 17-year-old boy, but my age and gender changes when I'm at Avril concerts. I don't even hear people singing in my ear when I'm in the front. There are some agressive chicks that want to get to the front row though, so if you don't want to deal with that, you might want to lay back. This one chick kept pulling on my shirt and hitting my friend next to me. And then she spit on another chick's hair. I think she got pulled out for being a bitch though.
There was also another incident where Martin from Boys Like Girls threw his towel that he just wiped his face with into the audience. And there were 8 girls fighting over it. It was ugly too. They were seriously going at it for the damn sweaty towel. They ended up taking the towel away though haha.

Oh yeah, and this is completely off topic, but hilarious. (sorry for double posting)
So Martin from Boys Like Girls liked throwing water bottles into the audience that were half full. Well he threw one and a bunch of water spilled towards the front of the catwalk. They ended their set and the road crew came out to set up the stage. One of the guys cleaned up the water with a white towel, like the ones that the guys were using. And then he gave it to this girl on the side of the stage. I don't know why he did that though. Anyways, she didn't notice that he had just wiped the floor with it, so she started smelling it and rubbing it on her face because she thought it was from the guys. She passed it around to her friends and was all happy. I was planning on breaking her heart and telling her after the concert, but I didn't want to be a dick.
Now I'm getting really off topic...
You want to be in the front!

Either way, you'll hear it great.
Her speakers are set up to where everyone in the venue can hear them.
