Hi Guys, Hoping you can help me with a dilema, as Avril fans go I'm no doubt at the top end of the age scale ie. 35 year old male I have however followed and loved her music from day one. Have been to both the shut me up tour and bonez tour, both in the UK and Australia, the highlight of which was playing football outside hammersmith apollo with Devon and some of the roadcrew before the show in May 2005. I now feel however that as Avril has taken a more mainstream/pop route than in previous years that crowds on this tour are goin to be 13.14 year old girls hence I have refrained from buying a ticket as feel I would be so out of place, However as the uk tour is now upon us i have the desperate urge to wanna go. Can anyone whose seen the shows recently let me know what sort of ages the crowd is made up of? I accept I'll feel old but will I feel really ancient? Polite answers on a postcard please.
Anyway lookin foward to Avril being in town on Thursday regardless of whether I go or not, I have an apartment overlooking the MEN arena so if any legally drinking age fellow fans want to meet for a beer and a few Avril tunes/DVD's to get in the mood then PM me.

You shouldnt really care about the crowd at gigs! I go and see Echo and the Bunnymen with my dad and everyone at them gigs are at least 30 years older than me!
If you wanna go, go!
But if your really bothered about age, maybe you should ask in the Glasgow topic, and someone there will be able to tell you what the UK audience is looking like haha
