Why is Avril so freakin' date-able?!
Okay so I'm sick of reading stupid backhanded comments in magazines Like last week in Rolling Stone, there were pictures of celebrities swimming in Miami, and it said "A whole bunch of superstars, oh and Avril Lavigne". Haha. Okay so too bad Rolling Stone sneaks a picture of her in almost weekly. I was just reading Cosmo and decided to write a little press of my own:
Why is Avril Lavigne so Freakin' Date-able?!
Avril Lavigne can seem like a brat, but why do guys fall head over heels for her? There are so many reasons! Plus she's just being a brat to the press, I know first hand she's sweet as pie to her fans, as she probably is to her friends and family. Let us count the ways!
BE YOURSELF
Basically, this is the Avril mantra we all follow. She transforms into looks SHE likes, it never matters what's in style or what best dressed list she gets on. The girl likes punk and always has a little of that style even when she fees like wearing a pink fluffy dress. Guys love this, not her style in particular, but that she's confident enough not to care! She's never seen the inside of a tanning bed either, and all her makeup looks are for pure fun. This is what being a girl is about! Not trying to fit in and gain acceptance from others!
GIVE YOUR GUY SOME BREATHING ROOM
I'm pretty sure I just heard something online that Brody missed Avril while celebrating his birthday. She's never stuck up her guys butt, and not to compare, but Brody's ex followed him like a puppy dog and begged him for marriage. Really, if you were (or are) a dude, which would you want? A laid back lady of course. Someone that trusts you! Which brings us to...
HAVE YOUR OWN DREAMS
Avril is a singer because that is her dream. Brody is a TV personality and that was his. Deryck is a rock star and that is his. It's great to support eachother but NEVER give up your dreams for a man. If you've got a good catch, he will never expect you to, he can follow his own. And if that means time apart for projects, well, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Plus, all that drive sure is sexy!!

I love this article. It deserves to be pulished. It's far better than any "we dont like avril lavigne because she dresses in comfortable clothing" articles
