For years, I used to pronounce it as "La-vig-nay", instead of "La-veen".

Anyone else? Or was I the only person to be THAT stupid? :p

We all know how Avril used to be in RCA Records since The Best Damn Thing.
Her image changed to a more feminine side & she also had these pink hair streaks for a while.
In the Goodbye Lullaby era she wanted to release a more striped down album but RCA wanted her to release an upbeat album like TBDT 2.0 (hence the songs Smile & What the Hell). She also had a lot of different dyed hair streaks (Green, pink, purple etc).
Since this era she has been with Epic Records. She has more freedom and she can do whatever she wants. She has blonde hair now without any streaks.
Do you think that RCA actually forced (well not nessecarily "forced" because it's such a strong verb) her to dye her hair since they wanted her to be pop?
It's just a thought I came across recently. :)

I know this may sound a bit weird, but did you notice that avril is only wearing wide and dark shirts lately? Or jackets over the shirt? As if she was hiding a little secret.

RIAA considers the total views of a video (not just US) for their certifications now. Few days ago, Smile was certified Gold. But what concerns me is that Wish You Were Here is being snubbed by RIAA. Not just that, Girlfriend should be 5x platinum, When You're Gone should be 2x platinum, Alice should be Gold and What The Hell should be 3x platinum.

In Part Three of our interview with Avril Lavigne, the Canadian star opens up about her biggest life lessons to date and her perfect wedding playlist.

The 28-year-old singer has worked in the music industry since she was just 15 years old, and learned the hard way how career pressures can damage relationships.

Avril - now engaged to marry Nickelback's Chad Kroeger - divorced her first husband, Sum 41's Deryck Whibley, in November 2010, after three years of marriage.

What does an average day in the life of Avril look like, when you�re not doing interviews, performing and recording?

I like to exercise. Like, I like to swim. I like watching movies now, more than I ever have before, and I like red wine. My new thing is Champagne.

Very nice. So you�re not just a beer girl anymore?

No (laughs).

What else has changed in your late twenties? Have your priorities changed?

You know, you live, you learn. You grow up, you get a little wiser.

What have your biggest lessons have been?

To have balance, �cause when things are really intense - like this career choice, or anything it is in life, like your job or whatever � what I have just learned for me personally, is that I want to keep a balance, to always enjoy what it is that I do...

Break it up a little bit, versus having too much to do. If you eat your favourite food every single day, you get sick of it, you don�t like it anymore.

I think it�s important to� work really hard and then focus on family and friends... Because you know how it is when you go on tour, you don�t see your family or your friends, or you�re never home. So what tends to happen is relationships don�t work and things like that. You get my drift? (Laughs).

So that�s it, balance.

A lot of people in their 20s make five year plans. Have you made one?

No, I�m just living in the moment.

Let�s talk a little bit about the dream wedding playlist. What songs have to be on the list?

I think I�m going to leave that up to Chad to come up with the music.

I think we�re going to break it up... There�s the ceremony, there�s the reception and then there�s after the reception, which will be like a DJ.

I think during the reception I�m going to go for some classy jazz music.

And finally Avril, what do you think is the meaning of life?

What is the meaning of life? (Laughs). What�s the meaning of life (to room)?

I got a couple of opinions � happiness, love. That�s what we�re thinking over here.

Possibly controversial topic. Posting it anyway, because I can.

In your opinions, how much of Avril's live performances are mimed, and how much is legit live singing?

I'm sure we've all watched it 175 million times, but the 2008 Toronto gig provides many good examples of what I'm talking about:-

It's replete with... I dunno, moments which just don't sound right. Like she's miming to a prerecorded backing track (not necessarily the albums). The way she smiles after certain verses, the way her mouth moments don't correspond to certain words. It's subtle, but it's still noticeable.

Is it important? No, not really. Is it indicative of a lack of talent? Lol no. I just think it's kind of interesting.
