~Flashback~
"I don't want you to go, your always on tour" Avril cried into Derycks chest.
"I know baby but it's only for a week more, than i'll be home for the rest of the year spending time with you" he smiled kissing the top of her head and gently rubbing her back.
"A week is to much" Avril moaned tightening her grip on Derycks waist.
Deryck had been travelling non-stop for the past year and hadn't had the opertunity to spend that much time with Avril considering she was a working girl to.
"You could come with me babe" Deryck suggested.
Avril raised her head off Deryck chest aggressively "You know I can't do that I have work!"
"Honey I could support the both of us I mean lets face it, I make a little more" he joked.
"Ohh, I refuse to sink so low as to have you support me! God how could you even think that"
"I just wanna spend time with you Av"
"Yeah? well we have to do it some other way I aint quitting!"
"Okay, I'm sorry i bought it up geeze you so uptight"
"Oh you think im uptight? I have no patience for this" She snapped and got off the couch and headed toward the door.
"Avril come back baby I'm sorry" Deryck pleaded and followed her out.

~Flashback over~

The waiter took them through the V.I.P section and found a table farthest from Derycks on Bens request. The waiter seated them both gave them menues and disapeared.
"This is akward don't you think?" Avril asked trying not to get eye contact with her soon-to-be-ex-husband.
"A little but it's just dinner" Ben smiled taking her hand in his "I really like you Avril"
Avril smiled and tried her hardest not to blush "I like you to Ben, sorry about the whole Deryck thing"
"Aww, it's okay I know you guys have alot of history, I don't mind you hanging out with him as long as you are with me at the end of the day" he informed her.
"Oh trust me, I will" she winked.
When they're food was ordered and they had taken away the menu cards Avril and Ben were doing the first date ritual just to entertain themselves.
The conversation had a sudden stop when they noticed Deryck standing by they're table looking over them.
"Hey Avril" Deryck smiled and gave her a hug. He then turned around and shook Bens hand "and you must be Ben right?"
Ben nodded.
"Pleasure to meet you" Deryck said "How do you guys know each other?" Deryck asked out of curiosity.
"Does it matter?" Avril asked trying not to overreact. It was a pretty sensitive subject and Deryck was probably the last person she wanted to tell.
"We met through her lawyer" Ben lied and gave Av a small smile.

"I'm naked around you, does it show, you see right through meee" Avril sang lowly scribling stuff on paper.
"and i can't hide? or something like that I have no idea Avril I suck at this stuff!" Avrils friend informed her.
"That was actually great" Avril smiled and sung what she had gotten so far.
"Has Deryck ever heard you sing?"
"Don't be silly Cam"
"Whats so silly about your voice?"
"Nothing, but out of the two of us he's the star"
"That dosen't mean you can't have a little bite honey" Cam winked.
"I know I just don't want him to know, I guess i'm afraid he'll set me up or something and that's the last thing i want" Avril sighed trying to shale the thought outta her head.
Just when Cam was about to open her mouth Deryck gave a slight knock on the door and opened it.
"Heeey girlies doing anything naughty?" He grinned in a evil fashion.
"Der you perv! what do you see in this guy?" Cam teased, giving Der a playfeull shove before leaving the room tripping slighty on her heel on the way out.
"I see a sexy stud" Av replied flirtatiously getting out of her seat and dragging Deryck in for a passionate kiss.
~Flashback over ~
He cut his hair, god it looks cute! Avril thought wanitng nothing more then to destroy the layers of hair gele he had put in. She knew how much he hated it. But there was something different about him. She could sence it. He seemed alot more casual and less like a goofball. Did he really change for her? She was dsperate to now but she knew she couldnt just ask. Especially with Ben in the picture. This couldn't come at a worse time for her. Deryck was the love of her life and she hasgicen a part pf her she could never get back. But then again Ben was such an amazing guy. He always listened he was a romantic and he cared deeply about her. The last thing she wanted was to chose the wrong guy but there was a 50% chance she would no matter what. She wanted both of them. But she knew that wasn't possible.
"Oh yeah that" Deryck stuttered turning red.
"So do you guys wanna join me and and my friend over there" he pointed out. His friend gave them a small wave.
The nerve he has! avril hissed in her thoughts. His so called friend was the guy avril hated most out of all Derycks friends he kept on hitting on her and getting close to her.
"ohh Gary" Avril mumbled in stubbornly.
"Sure why not" Ben smiled pulling Avrils chair out for her.
"Sure baby?" Avril asked hopping her would change his mind.
Ben nodded gave her a wink and took her hand escorting her to the other table.
"Ohlala Avril Lavigne long time no see darling" Gary said walking over to give her a hug. He also gave her a light slap on the butt that didn't go unnoticed by Deryck or Ben. Avril decided to amuse herself and just smile to see their reaction.
"wha-wha" Ben stammered.
"Anything wrong sweetpea?" Avril grinned looking over at Ben who had his mouth wide open. Deryck on the other hand was giving Gary the most deadliest stare ever seen by the human eye.
"How've you been Gary?" Avril smiled giving him a flirtatious look.
"Guys can I have a word with Gary for two seconds" Deryck said leaving the table while dragging Gary with him.
Deryck took Gary a couple tables away and gave Gary a slap so hard it knocked him off his feet.
"You fucking hit on my wife again and i'll kill you" he screamed.
"It was a joke Der relax" Gary breathed.
"No i consider that sexual harrashment, get lost if i ever see you again you'll wish you never met me!" he fused and kicked him once in the rib cage before returning to the table.
"I'm really sorry about that Av" Deryck said sitting back down.
"That was uhm. I gotta go to the bathroom" Avril explained and took off in a hurry. Deryck was right behind her.
"Av whats wrong?"
"You just beat the crap out of Gary what do you think is wrong ?" Avril cried "Your still violent"
"Yeah more like protective Av why didn't you tell me Gary was like that?"
"I never wanted you to worry, I hated seeing you hurt Der" she cried cullapsing on the floor.
"What hurts me is when someone isn't threating the woman I love with respect"
"I'm sorry Der" she sighed resting her head against his chest.
"It's okay Av, you never ever have to apologize to me. I did something horrible to you and it took me a long time to get myself to change but I have. Ive changed for you!"
"I never wanted you to change. I wanted to erase our honeymoon"
"I want to to. But i cant, and i have a hard time living with that"
"I know" she admitted.
She looked up into his eyes and noticed how watery they were.
"I love you Av I honest to god love you" he whispered bringing out a shaky smile allowing a single tear run down his face.
Avril wipped it away with her thumb and leaned in to kiss him. To her suprise he pulled back.
"Whats wrong?" she asked cupping his chin so she could get eye contact.
"Your seeing Ben now Av, I can't let you spoil that he seemse like a nice guy"
"You have got to be fucking kidding me"
"what?"
"You use all your time on making me want you back and now your rejecting me?"
Deryck got up and looked over at Ben.
"Der Ben is my shrink we started dating like 2 min ago don't you dare walk out on me" Avril demanded grabbing him forcefully into a kiss.
"wow" was the onyl words Deryck could get out when Avril released him.
"be right back" she smiled to herself. Best kiss yet Lavigne she thought with pride walking over to Ben.
"Hey Ben. I'm real sorry but I dont think this is gonna work out" she mumbled starring down at the floor.
"I didnt think it would" he smiled back getting off his chair.
"I gace my heart away a long time ago and I'm not ready to even take it back" she expained.
"Av I understand Im your shrink I knew you would never get over him" he smiled giving her a kiss on the cheek " see ya around dudette" he grinned and walked towards the exit.
Avril took a ring she had in her locket inside her bracelet and put it on her finger. She then went over to Deryck and showed him what she had done.
"Mrs. Whibley?" heasked.
"Hell yeah mrs whibley" she smiled and pulled him in for a KISS.


sorry i ended it but im doing alot lately i didnt feel it was fair of me to make you guys wait around for updates but im actually working on a funny one but i wont post it till its comeplete
